Early Head Start

This program provides comprehensive parenting services to prenatal mothers and parents with children under the age of three. Early Head Start is funded for 144 children in Adams, Clay, Franklin, Hall, Nuckolls, and Webster counties. Weekly home visits provide families the opportunity for services such as:

• Education
• Health
• Mental Health
• Dental
• Nutrition
• Transportation
• Parenting Classes
• Family Services
• Parent Education/Involvement

Socializations provide additional time for families to gather for added support. Early Head Start also assists child care providers with obtaining licensing and accreditation.
