Nebraska PASS Program

 What is PASS?

The Portable Assisted Study Sequence (PASS) Program consists of self-contained, semi-independent study courses which enable students to earn secondary-level semester credits for high school graduation. PASS is a nationally recognized program offering mobile secondary students an alternate means of earning full or partial course credits or building educational skills.

Programs are continually revised to serve both migrant and alternative school students. Students work semi-independently with the assistance of a mentor/instructor who meets with the student on a regular basis. The curriculum consists of learner-centered materials developed specifically for PASS which include teaching techniques to assist the learner. Students can take courses at their own pace.
