0-3 Early Education

A Home-Based Program

Our Early Head Start program is a home visitation program that provides comprehensive parenting services to prenatal mothers and parents with children under the age of three. Early Head Start is funded for 162 children in Adams, Clay, Franklin, Hall, Nuckolls, and Webster counties. Our home-based Head Start program is delivered in the home by a trained home visitor, family advocate, or an infant/toddler educator. Families can expect a weekly visit of 1.5hr and 2 socializations meeting per month.

Weekly home visits provide families the opportunity for services such as:

  • Education
  • Health
  • Mental Health
  • Dental
  • Nutrition
  • Transportation – at some locations
  • Parenting Classes
  • Family Services
  • Parent Involvement

Socializations provide additional time for families to gather for added support. Children are supported with activities.   If interested in enrolling your child(ren) from newborn to 3 years of age, please fill out the application on this page.
