Why you work for Head Start:
I enjoy working for a program that makes a difference in so many lives of children and families. I have held numerous positions within the agency over the years, and I’m glad I experienced each one of them, as they all helped me gain experience in various areas of the program. Our agency holds numerous grants, and each one of them is unique and helps in different ways, yet all have the same goal of helping children and families. I love working at Head Start because it’s family-friendly and allows me the flexibility I need involving my own children.
Favorite thing about your job:
I have the best co-workers and love the team dynamic that we have. I enjoy being part of the team that gets to problem solve and think of ways to improve what we do. I also enjoy getting to see the smiles on the kids and seeing them improve and grow over the years.
