Why you work for Head Start:
I have been employed at Head Start for 22 years. I knew I wanted to work here after having my children attend preschool at Head Start. I like the flexibility of my work hours so that I could still have time to get my younger children to school before coming into work. Now that my children are grown up and I have grandchildren that are getting involved in activities I am able to flex my hours so that I can attend the activities and to show up for them.
Favorite thing about your job:
I really like my position as a General Manager Assistant for the Family Engagement Specialist. I have a variety of duties that keep me from getting bored at my job. I have met many new friends that keep me laughing, and they are there for me when I need an ear to listen.
