Why you work for Head Start:
Head Start is an amazing program. I started as a parent in 2015. My home visitor encouraged me to apply for the para position. I started as a para in 2016. I have now been a Home Visitor since 2020. I love to get involved with the families and their children. I like to see them succeed, reach their goals, and grow. Helping the families brings me great happiness.
Favorite thing about your job:
My favorite thing about my job is that it doesn’t feel like I’m actually working. I just love what I do and seeing the little kids smile and love how much the parents trust me to work with them. I also love my coworkers. I feel like we all care about each other and work together.

Apply online today for Early Head Start (prenatal moms and families with children birth to age three) or Head Start (children ages 3-5). A home visitor will then reach out to you to set up a time complete the rest of the application process.
